NAWAN, MIS. OR., PH | On March 22, 2024, eTanom began an exciting collaboration with the Mapulog Tree Growers’ Association (MATGA) in Brgy. Mapulog, Naawan, Misamis Oriental. This partnership marks the start of our pilot testing phase. During this phase, 11 dedicated tree-growers from MATGA will provide valuable feedback. Their insights are essential for refining eTanom’s user interface and overall experience.

eTanom’s Collaboration with MATGA

The collaboration between eTanom and MATGA is pivotal as we work to develop a platform that meets the needs of tree-growers. By engaging with MATGA, we are tailoring eTanom to enhance reforestation activities and improve usability for its users. The feedback from these pilot testers will guide necessary adjustments, making the platform more effective and user-friendly.

We are grateful for the support of enthusiastic student volunteers from the College of Computer Studies – Student Executive Council at MSU-IIT, led by our Student Ambassador, Mary Antonette Garcia. Their assistance was invaluable during the pre-registration process and will continue to be important as we move forward with testing and development.

Looking Forward: Testing and Development

In the upcoming weeks, we will return to Mapulog to conduct hands-on testing with our pilot users. This phase will provide us with real-time feedback, allowing us to make necessary adjustments before our planned launch in the last quarter of 2024. We are excited about this next step and look forward to sharing more updates as we progress toward launching eTanom.

Stay tuned to our news page for the latest updates on our platform’s development and upcoming events.
